The experienced and caring team at Profile Orthodontics are committed to making you smile from the moment you walk in the door. You are always in great hands - whether it’s receiving advice from our front desk, or experiencing exceptional treatment from our Specialist Orthodontists.

Dental Hygienists

Our Dental Hygienists and Oral Health Therapists are highly trained in orthodontic procedures. They share a commitment to delivering exceptional orthodontic care and most have been part of the Profile Orthodontics team for 10-15 years plus. Their professional training is enhanced by attending courses and conferences both locally and internationally.

All hold professional qualifications, which include Associate Degrees in Dental Therapy and/or Dental Hygiene, or a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy. They came to Profile Orthodontics with a range of valuable experience including school teaching, being a qualified dental technician, and positions with the School Dental Service, private dental practices and the Children’s Hospital.

Dental assistants

Our friendly dental assistants play an important role in educating our patients on what to expect during orthodontic procedures and how to care for their appliances and oral health. They help the practice to run effectively by sterilising equipment and assisting the hygienists and orthodontists. Our dental assistants have a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or are completing Certificate III training.

Treatment Coordinators

Our Treatment Coordinators are at your initial consultation and any Grow With Us reviews, to help you understand treatment options and explain the process. They will co-ordinate taking photos and other records, discussing your treatment timeline, creating your payment plan, and assisting you with any questions you may have. All our Treatment Coordinators have a Certificate in Dental Assisting.

Administrative staff

Our Administrative Staff will be your first point of contact with our practice. They will schedule your appointments, send you introductory materials, and assist if you have any questions during treatment. Most have a Certificate in Dental Assisting and some clinical experience.
