During/after treatment
During treatment you enter the Active Treatment Stage. This is where the transformation happens. Braces, clear aligners, or other appliances gently guide your teeth into their ideal positions. Regular adjustment appointments allow us to monitor your progress, make precise changes, and keep your treatment on track.
Throughout this phase, you’ll start to see real changes in your smile and bite. Typically, treatment time in braces or aligners ranges depending on the patient's age and growth, the severity of the problem, and patient cooperation.
Minor cases can be completed in as little as 6 months, while more complex movements may take between 12 and 24 months.
Wearing appliances as directed, maintaining good oral hygiene, avoiding breakages and keeping scheduled appointments will help you to complete treatment on time.
After care
After treatment you are in the Retention Stage. Once your teeth have reached their new positions, it’s time to protect that progress.
After your braces or aligners are removed, you’ll be fitted with retainers to help keep your smile stable long-term. Wearing your retainers as directed is key to maintaining your results and preventing teeth from shifting back over time.
